Fanart
Nighthawk/Dayhawk related
This is the best of my art as related to N/D. Some of it is really old, some is really new. Some was done during a flash of inspiration, some during a month-long art block.
Fight!
This was one of the first CG pictures I did for the comic. As you can see I've changed the designs of the characters a little bit, but the picture is still satisfying I think.
ND
Lu Ram
Neetch
Questoya
This is a series of pictures I did of the cast, at least of those who have appeared in the comic thus far. I'm really proud of these pictures, even if ND is hunched over in a weird way. Whenever I feel bad about my art I remind myself of these and don't feel so bad.
Young Neetch
This is the first picture I ever drew of Neetch when she was younger. In N/D she behaves crazily and sporadically, theoretically because she's in a suicidal mood, but this is her more natural state. This is how she appears in the comic strip I'm working on starring her.
Cuazatli
Some art block stuff. This is a panel from some point in Volume 3, and I filled it in with this angsty kinda style, which I like but is rather tedious and hard to control. That's all to say really.
Miande and Fyodor Krafis
Bala Ndoube
Konratt Vajborn
More art block stuff. These aren't actually characters from N/D, but from the theoretical sequel to it that I've had running through my head since I finished the original rough draft of N/D. The title would be "Jaguar Sun," and past that I can't say anything without giving away the end of N/D, except that it's very existential.
ND Fighter Sprite
Miande Fighter Sprite
I had the idea at one point of finding a way somehow to make a 2d back-and-forth fighting game of N/D, a la Street Fighter or Weaponlord. I don't have that kind of programming experience though, so I just messed around with spritish stuff.
Sonic Lu
Sonic Neetch
Just a couple pictures of Lu and Neetch in the style of the Sonic games. These were pretty fun to do, sometime I may do the rest of the cast like this.
Nata
Nata is a fan character by Becca-Jo Kelley (well, sort of - I held a contest on SheezyArt at one point to make fan characters). The prize was that she would have a cameo as an extra in the comic, sometime in Volume 3, and I drew this picture for her. Nata is now a character in the Neetch comic.
Questoya the Contortionist, for Chibity
This was a gift for Chibity, whom you might hear me refer to as "The Canada Girl." She likes contortionism, and she likes Questoya - and nicknamed him "Questy" - so I drew her this.
Neetch related
These are pictures I've drawn just of Neetch, independently of N/D. They're from various incarnations of her character, from her as a slice-of-life figure, and her as a fantastical character from enterVoid.com.
Neetch Likes Snow
I like the winter, and so does Neetch. Neetch lives in New York City, so I guess this is Central Park.
Problems of Her Own
Neetch is a depressed person, but not perpetually so. She's a post-adolescent girl in an adolescent world, chemically imbalanced, starving artist, disillusioned, lesbian-atheist-goth-fetishist-orphan, and sometimes she just needs to take a little time off from life to sit and be.
Bedfeathers
This is actually a panel from volume 5 (eight months in the future at the time I'm putting it up here, whoah! I was particularly proud of this panel, because, besides looking niftier than I had expected, I think it captures Neetch's disoriented neuroses in all things fairly well also. Her shirt says "Jesus is my babydaddy." As a joke, of course.
Easter 2006
Just a little comic I did for Easter. A little risque, if you think about it.

Seel and Neetch Chummin' it Up
These are some pictures for the enterVOID version of Neetch. As of yet she hasn't been accepted into VOID, since I just wasn't feeling the whole art thing when I tried to submit her, but someday I'll rework her. And Seel is awesome, you should all go bask in her artness.
"8-bit ND"
This is a project I started sometime when I had no inspiration to work on the comic itself but wanted to work on it anyway. As you can see, it would actually have to be a 16-bit game, but I had already titled the folder on my computer "8-bit ND," and I'm too lazy to change it. Theoretically the game would be on the Sega CD, with a Redbook soundtrack by me. It would follow the plot of the comic, with little bits of dialogue using sixteen-bit portraits of the characters and some fancy font or other. Maybe someday I'll find a programmer who can put it all together for me.
Full Sprite Sheet"
All the enemy sprites in the game, and a couple interface sprites, like Neetch dancing on the screen where it tells how well you did on the level.
Level 1-1: Laughton City
The first part of the first level, in which you fight your way through the streets, crowded with APers.
Level 1-2: Run-down Apartment
The second part of the first level, in which you fight your way up an old apartment building, and fight Questoya in the intact penthouse.
Level 2-1: Lu's Apartment
The first part of the second level, in which you hold off the hoards of mysterious medievally-armed APers who attack Lu in her apartment. My idea was, first you choose which of the doors in these three rooms for Lu to hide behind, and then you defend her. APers will climb up walls on the outside, and break out the windows if you haven't already. You can ride up and down on a window-cleaners' platform to get into the different rooms, while APers flood through all three doors. If they reach the door she's hiding behind, they kill her, and you lose.
Level 2-2: Collapsed Building
The second part of the second level. After you've protected Lu for a certain amount of time, the building collapses. You fight your way through the wreckage, and fight a big shirtless guy in a falcon hood with a giant axe in the conveniently placed battle ground to the right.
Character Portraits
A few character portraits. There'll be a few more characters than this, but I haven't done portraits of them yet. I can't say who all these are though, or I'd give away some of the plot of the comic.
Fanart
I like fanart. Draw me fanart.
"Nighthawk/Dayhawk Yummies" by Chibity
This was the first piece of fanart ever drawn for me, and it made me so happy.
"Avian Yaoi" by Chibity
A second piece of fanart by Chibity, who said she thought there was a drastic shortage of N/D-related yaoi, and took matters into her own hands.
Nata by Becca-Jo
A little while ago I hosted a contest to design a fan character for the comic, and the prize would be a cameo appearance in the background and a big full picture of the character by me. Becca-Jo was the only one who entered, but I liked her character nonetheless. This is her.
Lu by Becca-Jo
Not much to say about this one, other than that I love it so very very much. Yes.
E by Chibity
Chibity got all excited and made a fan character too! Her character is E, a "flaming gay" Japanese exchange student at the art school Neetch attended, majoring in music.
Johnny by Cypress
A fan character by Cypress. She's working on a fan comic! When she told me that, I think I melted and had to type with my hair. That doesn't make sense, does it. Whatever, it's early.HERE is her preliminary sketch of him. She probably doesn't want me to show you this, but I want to because he looks so much like Otacon from MGS that it's cute.
Confused by Cypress
Cypress's favorite line, I think she said, was the multitude of times ND says "...I'm confused." There should totally be t-shirts.
Psychology by Cypress
Niitsu! Cypress/Tanookie/Adamska/Oni/her-real-name-that-she-probably-wouldn't-want-me-to-tell-you showed me this at the same time as she declared her intent to draw a fan comic. I refer you to the description of the Johnny picture for my reaction.
Lu by Cypress
Lu! She rocks your world, and so does Cypress.
ND and Lu by Tanookie
Cypress shall hereafter be referred to as "Tanookie." It's a secret to everybody. Anyway, she did a wonderfully nice picture of Lu and ND. Enjoy it, I demand.
Self-Destruction by Tanookie
Another picture by Tanookie! This time, she and Neetch go on a rampage through the streets. Or pose appropriately, anyway.
Lu by Icarus
Icarus draws the comic Inhuman (which you should all look at and read and love and all of that stuff because it's wonderful!), and he much enjoys Lu, and that makes me happy. Happy is good. I think.
Neetch by Icarus
This made me go 'Waaaaaaaaaaah.' In a good way.
Lu 2 by Icarus
I managed to worm my way into one of Icarus' sketch trades, and in return for a picture of Jet and Kammi I got this. I got the far better end of the deal, sshh. It's very very lovely.
